Born and raised in London with family links to a tiny village in France, Bryony knows both British and French cultures well and enjoys immersing herself in French ‘bande dessinées’. She began making her own comic strips during her theatre practice Masters degree and continues to find similarities between both disciplines.
For every commission Bryony works diligently and with attention to detail. She loves creating conceptual work that brings a moment to reflect anew at the world we live in. Equally, she admires the irreverence of cartoons, and her continued fascination with them is with their power to call out injustice.
With a Bachelor degree in Ancient Greek and Roman Cultures, Bryony brings the transformational world of myths into her comic book storytelling.
Bryony would love to continue making art for disability rights activism, climate justice and ending homelessness.
